DOLPHIN AND WHALE TOUR

Exceptional encounters with dolphins and whales in the wild ocean!

The ocean offers a unique encounter with its largest inhabitants.

Go on a dolphin and whale watching cruise in the Osa area, where the ocean lives its own rhythm and every exhale from the surface is a reminder of how powerful and beautiful the connection with nature can be.

This trip takes you to the rich waters of the Osa Peninsula – a place where the ocean surprises you every day. The company you’ll travel with has over 26 years of experience with the behavior and occurrence of dolphins and whales in the area, and knows exactly where to look.

Every cruise is unique. Sometimes you’ll encounter smaller pods of dolphins, other times you’ll find yourself in the middle of a huge pod that surrounds you on all sides. And if you’re lucky, you’ll even spot majestic whales, especially during the migration period from July to October, when the chances of spotting them are highest.

The cruise route adapts to the current movements of the marine mammals – sometimes you stay close to shore, sometimes you head further out into the open ocean.

There are scheduled breaks throughout the day – for refreshments, toilet facilities and, if conditions allow, snorkelling in a quieter bay. The boats are designed for the comfort and safety of all participants, with plenty of space and views for everyone.

On board the boat there is a hydrophone – a special device that allows you to hear the songs of whales and the communication of dolphins. Close your eyes and let yourself drift away – it’s not just a sound, it’s a feeling that connects you to what’s beneath the surface.
